Land Life Welcomes New Leaders to Supervisory Board
As Land Life heads into the next decade of growth and innovation in the field of nature restoration, we are excited to announce the addition of two visionary leaders to our Supervisory Board: Martijn Duvoort as board member, and Gerrit Stoelinga as chairman, joining current member, Katharina Maass. Their diverse expertise and commitment to sustainability will play a crucial role in guiding Land Life through our next phase of development and impact.

Gerrit Stoelinga joins Land Life’s Supervisory Board as Chairman. He is a recognized leader in sustainable finance and has over three decades of experience in consulting and financing of corporates across the globe.
During his extensive career at ING Bank, Gerrit held various senior positions, including 5 years as Global Head of Structured Acquisition Finance, 2 years as Global Head of International Trade and Commodity Finance and 3 years as CEO of ING Wholesale Banking Asia-Pacific, where he was responsible for the strategy and business performance across 14 markets in Asia. His proven leadership will be a valuable asset as he takes on the role of Chairman of Land Life's Supervisory Board.
Gerrit is currently a Supervisory Board member at Strohm and an Associate Partner at Sustainable Capital Group, where he continues to drive sustainable business growth and development. Over the years his efforts have consistently focused on fostering sustainable finance initiatives. While heading ING Wholesale Banking in Asia-Pacific, Gerrit took the initiative to set up a Sustainable Finance business, which went on to lead many first of a kind deals across the region. Gerrit’s strategic insights as international business leader and commitment to sustainability will be invaluable as he leads the Supervisory Board at Land Life.

We are also excited to welcome Martijn Duvoort to Land Life’s Supervisory Board. Martijn has been working in the Energy and Sustainability sector since 2010 and is currently the Director of Energy at Arcadis in the Netherlands. He is a senior leader passionate about contributing to a sustainable future.
Previously, Martijn was the Director of Energy Markets and Strategy at DNV, where he expanded and developed the business in areas like energy strategy, market economics, and decarbonization. He has held several board positions and completed the Erasmus non-executive board program.
In the Benelux Energy sector, Martijn is a recognized thought leader and has published extensively on decarbonization, hydrogen, regional energy strategies, and electric mobility. He manages strategically important projects and has produced public reports and corporate strategies for utilities across Europe.
As a supervisory board member, Martijn will be guiding, soundboarding and challenging the management team of Land Life in a crucial stage of scaling up the business.
These additions to our Supervisory Board come at a pivotal time as we embark on another decade of growth at Land Life. The diverse backgrounds of Gerrit and Martijn and their shared commitment to our mission will undoubtedly strengthen our leadership team, and our ability to make an impact.
