Rebekah Braswell has been appointed as the new CEO of tech-driven reforestation company Land Life. Rebekah will scale the company’s impact to planting more than 50 million trees and double the size of the company over the next five years. Rebekah takes over from Tjeerd Anema, who will continue in the role of CFO at Land Life.
Rebekah is a founding member and previously Land Life’s CCO. Under her leadership, the company successfully created a business model for reforestation working with global blue chip companies on projects around the world.
Piero Overmars, Chair of the Supervisory Board at Land Life says “Rebekah has the right combination of vision, charisma, execution orientation and tenacity to be Land Life’s CEO. She brings a deep understanding of the business developed over the past 7 years since she joined the company as one of its founding members.”
Unlocking the potential of global nature restoration
As CEO, Rebekah will continue to build out Land Life’s hubs in Europe, the US, and Australia and bring technology to the forefront of nature restoration. “The software and tools we have deployed on our projects can help improve the scale and impact of nature restoration globally”, said Rebekah, “Additionally, our holistic approach to nature restoration helps us educate and lead the market to value the importance of nature and biodiversity.”
