How Land Life Manages Your Residual Carbon Removal Projects

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Land Life help me start a project near my operations?
Yes, Land Life collaborates closely with our customers to develop carbon removal reforestation projects in regions that align with your supply chain and sustainability strategies.
What methodology do you use for your carbon removal projects?
At Land Life, we implement reforestation projects using Verra’s VCS standard and its approved ARR methodologies. These frameworks define how to establish baselines, select appropriate native species, and monitor growth to accurately quantify GHG removals. Every project is validated and verified by accredited third parties to meet Verra’s strict environmental and social safeguards. By adhering to these rigorous methodologies, we ensure the integrity and credibility of our carbon credits. Adherence to the requirements of Verra’s CCP-accredited Carbon Crediting Program underscores Land Life’s commitment to delivering high-quality, verifiable emission reductions.
How does it work with registration and issuance of credits?
Land Life’s grouped projects are validated and registered under a Carbon Crediting Program that facilitates the verification of real tCO2 removals and allows for the eventual issuance of high-quality Verified Carbon Units. Each restored site is ensured as eligible for the grouped project, which is continually validated and verified by an approved Validation & Verification Body (VVB). VERRA then issues your Verified Carbon Units (VCU) valid for a 40 year period starting from its verification period. You choose when to retire these VCUs, which Land Life can offer to do on your behalf.
